Sir Syed Ahmed Khan (Two Nation Theory) Q: Why did Sir Syed Ahmed Khan adopt Two Nation Theory? A: Sir Syed Ahmed Khan adopted two nation theory especially after the Hindi-Urdu controversy. He realized that Hindus were only interested in Hindi to be declared as official language. He realized that Muslims were trusting on Hindus to represent Muslims before the British while Hindus were damaging the image of the Muslims to obtain all benefits for Hindus. In this way Sir Syed adopted two nation theory to work just for the improvement of Muslim community and to give awareness to Muslims that they must have their own representatives to educate Muslims to be capable enough to communicate with British for their rights and to get good jobs for their social enhancement.
