Early Problems of Pakistan 1947 to 1948

Q. Explain the problems faced by Pakistani governments during 1947 and 1948?

Ans.  Pakistan had to face a lot of problems. The important one of all the problems was the refugee crisis. Muslims were forcefully sent to Pakistan and also killed in the way; others fled from violence and often arrived in their new country with nothing at all. Nearly 20 million people were killed and there was no law and order. Muslims were forced to leave their houses Refugees camps were full of injured people who had lost their families in front of their eyes and they could say nothing. There was lack of food and there was less medicines also, people were weak and needed support.

Another problem was that the country was divided into two separate parts; East Pakistan and West Pakistan. The vast difference between them meant that there were significant differences and outlook was also there, between the people of the two different regions. India discontinued the flow of waters led to West Pakistan which was a large threat to their crops which became to be known as the Canal Water Dispute. Pakistan was not a wealthy country and its major industry also known as the agricultural industry, did not produce enough raw material of a surplus needed for industrialization.

Mainly, people were of different regions but Pakistan was not compromised of a single united person and there was much works to do in convincing everyone of the wisdom of joining a new state. Pakistan also needed armed forces and military equipment to ensure its security. India did not provide the military share of Pakistan unfair division of military assets was that Pakistan started its existence with a seriously under-resourced military force. Pakistan, with great leadership skills and hard work, not only survived and flourished but overcame with power .

Pakistan became an independent country. It was a country with many problems but they took out their solutions
